I Embrace program is an initiative geared towards supporting teenage mothers aged between 13 – 22 years, who happen to be victims of Early/unwanted pregnancies. These girls are bitter with life, stigmatized, they lack confidence and self-esteem, and life in general has become hopeless. The theme for this project is “rebuild, demand, and change”
Expected outcomes
- To allow teenage mothers to rebuild their minds and focus, demand for their human dignity and rights; and change the negative perspective in the society by becoming community ambassadors upcoming generations.
- Increase in enrollment of school dropouts back to school and vocational training
- Increase the percentage of young girls abstaining from sexual activities.
- Promote employment and small businesses for those who finish vocational training for the betterment and good living standards of their lives.
- Increased awareness of and general knowledge of girls’ rights, and their practical implementation, among the general population, and girls themselves;
